DESCRIPTION:Our annual Speak Off/Adventure in Citizenship is Tuesday March 
 18\, 2025. This will be an evening dinner instead of our typical lunch. Pl
 ease arrive around 6:15pm for a 6:30pm (prompt) start. The location is 
 The Holiday Inn\, Salon D\, Portugal Cove Road. You can expect about six s
 tudents from our local high schools to speak to us with passion and poise.
  Some will be funny while others will speak with emotion. We also will hea
 r from last years winner who will tell us about their experience in Ottawa
  in May 2024. Many Rotarians say that this event is one of their favourite
 s! Our Club will sponsor the winner to attend  Adventure in Citizenshi
 p\, a project of the Rotary Club of Ottawa\, in May 2025. There they m
 eet up with others (sponsored by their local Rotary Clubs) from around the
  country to learn what it means to be Canadian. The meal cost is $45. The
  Mount Scio Stuffed Chicken Breast with all the trimmings is the standar
 d meal.  If you prefer Veggie Lasagna\, please note that in the comments 
 field. The Hotel requires a confirmation of meals and numbers by Monday Ma
 rch 10 so please register by noon on March 10th. Spectators who do not tak
