Cory Tucker, Community Support Director of the Rotary Club of St. John's Northwest, presented a donation cheque, on behalf of the club, to the founder of Sharing The Harvest NL, Barry Fordham.
Sharing the Harvest is a non-profit organization that facilitates the donation of locally sourced, wild game meat, fish, and foraged berries to food banks and other community organizations. They aim to address food insecurity in the province by connecting hunters, anglers, farmers, and homesteaders with those in need.
Sharing the Harvest has garnered accolades for its community work.
