Our annual Speak Off/Adventure in Citizenship is Tuesday March 18, 2025. This will be an evening dinner instead of our typical lunch. Please arrive around 6:15pm for a 6:30pm (prompt) start. The location is The Holiday Inn, Salon D, Portugal Cove Road.
You can expect about six students from our local high schools to speak to us with passion and poise. Some will be funny while others will speak with emotion. We also will hear from last years winner who will tell us about their experience in Ottawa in May 2024. Many Rotarians say that this event is one of their favourites!
Our Club will sponsor the winner to attend Adventure in Citizenship, a project of the Rotary Club of Ottawa, in May 2025. There they meet up with others (sponsored by their local Rotary Clubs) from around the country to learn what it means to be Canadian.
The meal cost is $45. The Mount Scio Stuffed Chicken Breast with all the trimmings is the standard meal.

The Hotel requires a confirmation of meals and numbers by Monday March 10 so please register by noon on March 10th.
Spectators who do not take a meal are also welcome but please email Gail Gosse @ gailgosse7@gmail.com so she can have a seat for you.
