A Dollar a Day Foundation
The Dollar A Day Foundation exists to narrow the gap between the need for and the availability of frontline mental health and addiction supports. It cultivates a community of donors across the country, and in pooling their resources, it grants to small and mid-sized organizations from coast to coast to coast. A Dollar A Day recently launched a campaign with Rotary called "Partners for Change", whereby every Rotary Club in Canada is encouraged to donate $365 (a dollar a day) towards mental health and addiction services. With over 700 clubs in Canada, that adds up to over $250K to help people in need. We are proud to share that the Rotary Club of St. John's Northwest is the first club in Canada to accept the challenge.
