Annual Food Drive

The Rotary Club of St. John's Northwest has held its annual food drive for more than 25 years, collecting over $1 million dollars in food for the Salvation Army Food Bank. This tremendous success is a result of the continuing contribution of the staff and students at Prince of Wales Collegiate, members of Rotary St. John’s Northwest, Gonzaga Interact, St. John’s Roteract and the kind support of our community.

The food drive typically takes place in October, with volunteers assembling at Prince of Wales Collegiate at 8:30 AM and departing at 9:00 AM. The Rotarian drivers take on designated routes. A few hours later, the collected food is delivered to the Salvation Army District Headquarters on Adams Avenue and the shelves are stocked! What a tremendous feeling of accomplishment!
